We have a very exciting and vibrant music programme in our school. We believe all children are musical. The extent to which musical ability develops, however, depends greatly on the input children receive in very early childhood. We therefore nurture each child’s musical potential from K1 – P6 in a stimulating and rich musical environment striving to develop a lifelong interest in music.
We work with highly skilled instrument teachers through our instrument and string programmes and provide many opportunities for children to perform both informally for each other in assemblies and classes, and more formally for parents in concerts, musicals, carol services and performing arts festivals. We provide a supportive and encouraging environment to build confidence and self-belief in a lively music community.
